Introduction to Schema Therapy:

Theory, Assessment, and Interventions

September 19, 2025

from 10am to 2pm EST

Zoom

This four-hour training offers an in-depth introduction to the core components of Schema Therapy, a powerful integrative model designed to treat longstanding emotional and relational patterns. Participants will gain a clear understanding of the theory behind early maladaptive schemas, schema modes, and the origins of core unmet needs.

Through interactive lecture, case examples, and practical tools, this training will cover how to assess schemas and modes, conceptualize cases using the schema model, and begin applying evidence-based interventions—including limited reparenting, imagery rescripting, and chair work. This workshop is ideal for therapists who want to deepen their work with clients experiencing chronic anxiety, depression, personality disorders, or trauma-related conditions.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the theoretical foundations of Schema Therapy.

  • Identify and assess early maladaptive schemas and schema modes.

  • Conceptualize client presentations through a schema-focused lens.

  • Explore introductory interventions for addressing entrenched patterns and promoting healing.

Whether you're new to Schema Therapy or looking to strengthen your foundational skills, this training will equip you with a practical roadmap for working with complex cases.

A recording and all handouts will be sent to participants following the end of the training. CE credits are not available for this training.

Booked and Balanced: How To Attract Your Perfect Fit Clients Using Your Therapy Website

July 25, 2025

from 1pm to 3pm EST

Zoom

Are you sick of waiting for Psychology Today to bring in clients? Are you hoping to get more clients who are willing to pay private pay rates but can't figure out how? Are you looking to get through the summer slump and start September with a full practice that brings you joy rather than dread?

This training is intended for folks who have websites through Squarespace, Wix, Wordpress, or other hosting sites but these websites are not receiving enough traffic or they are not attracting the types of clients that you want to work with. This training will be taught at a beginner level for folks who want to do their own website updates but need support with getting started.

These are the methods that I have used to drop from accepting five insurance companies to only one, increase my private pay rate to $200 per hour, and attract clients for weekly therapy as well as therapy intensives. My website went from getting 0 hits per month to getting hundreds per month - and, more importantly, converting to private pay, perfect fit clients. Best of all, once these systems are in place, it takes very little maintenance to keep running, so your website gets to work for you in the background of your busy life!

In this two hour training, we will cover:

-What is SEO (search engine optimization) and why is it important?

-What are keywords and why are they important?

-How to research keywords that attract the clients that are perfect for you

-How to set up Google My Business or optimize your existing profile

-How to set up Google Search Console to make sure that your website is able to be found on Google

-How to optimize your current site using headings, URL slugs, image descriptions, blogging, and more

-How to attract online clients from throughout your state (including more affluent areas) or other states where you are licensed using geotags

-How to access and read website analytics to know what's working, what isn't working, and what topics or content to focus on going forward.
